Find the value of k, for which 3 is a root of the equation kx²-7x+3=0.

 Since 3 is a root of the quadratic equation kx²-7x+3=0, then k(3)²-7(3)+3=0

=> 9k-21+3=0 => 9k-18=0

=> 9k=18 => k= 2 Ans.

Check whether 7+3x is a factor of 3x^3+7x ? [ncert]

                               Now take 7+3x=0 =>3x= -7 => x= -7/3 => If p(x)=3x^3+7x , then, => p(-7/3) = 3(-7/3)^3+7(-7/3) =...
